Lab
Applied Photonic Materials Laboratory

The Applied Photonic Materials Laboratory (APM Lab) explores new materials that will drive the next generation of optoelectronic technologies. Focusing on colloidal quantum dots (QDs), we study their synthesis, structural design, surface chemistry, and optical properties to understand and control their behavior. Based on these fundamental insights, our research extends to diverse applications including next-generation displays, lasers, integrated photonic devices, and quantum light sources, aiming to advance optoelectronic technologies beyond the limits of conventional semiconductors.
